This past April, one of the top five most anticipated shows of the year celebrated its 28th anniversary—the Southeast Mini-truckin Nationals in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
As soon as we arrived in Maggie Valley, we knew we were getting close to the show grounds. Trucks were cruising up and down the strip while cops and firefighters sat outside their stations watching everyone have a good time and making sure they were safe. Cruising the strip is what everyone looks forward to every year!
More than 750 vehicles and attendees from all over the US arrived for the weekend show and packed the fairgrounds. I spent hours shooting photos and catching up with friends I hadn’t seen in a while.
The show grounds had everything—old school minis to full size trucks and everything in between. Saturday night, everyone got a surprise with Tom Jenkins cruising Farfromluzen up and down the strip.
