Between Street Trucks, C10 Builder’s Guide, F-00 Builder’s Guide and OBS Builder’s Guide, we publish 21 individual books full of unbelievable trucks from all around the country. Each magazine could have upwards of six feature trucks, so picking favorites is a tough task for anyone. For the best-of-the-best award—Truck of the Year—we let our online fans and followers choose a winner by voting for their favorite. Only confirmed votes were counted, and we had a record number of votes this year. To be honest, I would have probably picked this amazing truck as well, so I’m glad we seem to all have the same taste in custom. Wonder who the final winner is? You’re going to have to jump over to page 46 to find out! The other big winners for this year’s titles were all personally chosen by the staff here at Street Trucks. Some in-depth conversations took place, and a few challenges to the majority were addressed, but eventually an agreement was made, and we are proud of our choices! This reminded us of our experiences judging car and truck shows when we were younger. Now we’re just dealing with the most elite builds in the country and the biggest names in the industry. Some will be excited with our picks, but unfortunately, more will be upset they didn’t get the nod. At the end of the day, they all built title winning rides, but only one can stand supreme in each category. This year’s categories of custom include Best Truck, Best Mini-Truck, Best Lifted Truck, Best Club, Best Builder and Best Manufacturer of the year. We made these choices based on exposure in our brands, positive impact on the industry, quality and design. To be eligible for the fight, your truck must be fully featured in one of our brands. It’s not easy to stand out in a crowd, but if you can build the best and stand out among the rest, chances are you could hold the title one day. This year’s trophies are these amazing 30-inch custom bead-rolled metal panels. Sean Rose from Rose Metal Works took the time to make each one by hand, and we are extremely excited to give one to each winner. Flip through the pages and check out the winners. Did we make the right picks? Let us know! It’s not easy to stand out in a crowd, but if you can build the best and stand out among the rest, chances are you could hold the title one day.
