This episode was brought to you by Minitruckin Takeover. Website: http://Minitruckintakeover.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/minitruckint… Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/minitruckin… Mark and Crystal began life in San Antonio, TX. Finding their way into the automotive culture, they began building full custom show trucks. After being featured in Truckin Magazine together as a couple, Mark and Crystal continued pursuing their dreams of building a Sema truck. Mark purchased a Toyota Tacoma and with the name TacoSupreme in mind, Mark transformed the truck into a Minitruck build that set the bar for other Tacomas to follow. After displaying the full custom mini truck build at Sema, Mark and Crystal were invited to have the truck featured in a magazine photoshoot. While out in the desert, Mark began proudly doing donuts in the truck he had just finished. That moment became the most talked about photoshoot in the mini truck culture, but Mark wouldn’t have it any other way. After their son, Gavin was diagnosed with Leukemia, Mark and Crystal began their business, Zarate Steel Works. After selling Crystal’s dream Mercury to Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, the Zarates were able to purchase the land and building necessary to start their business. By working long hours and never giving up, they both were able to leave their full time jobs and focus on growing their custom metal design business. Moving into powersports, Zarate Steel Works now offers custom Polaris Slingshot parts.
