We’ll be dropping that giveaway post today (Wed March 30th) at 1pm est! ————————————————————— We’re getting the pushrod suspension on this twin Tesla swapped EV C10 squarebody fully functional this week! Since Viking performance is sending over coil overs specific to our motion ratio and weight of the EV truck, we took that down time to have Chris Hazel from Zero EV over. We were sick and tired of having to boot up a laptop every time we wanted to start our truck, so he brought over a fancy new box to help us program our truck to start with just the push of a button. When our new suspension parts finally arrived from Viking, we still had a bit more measuring before we could get them installed. That’s because we needed to get JC’s help making some machined bushings and spacers to make sure everything fit nice and snug! With all of our ducks in a row, we were finally able to get to the install of these coil overs in our cantilever set up. It wouldn’t be an S2S episode without a little fabrication, so Tim beefs up our control arms before bolting everything together and giving our suspension one final weld. By the end of the episode, we’re tearing up the streets of South Florida with a much smoother ride than before! We’re so close to being able to take this truck to the track. The last steps is installing a limited slip differential, hooking up our Simpson harnesses and loading this truck up for it’s first track day! So stay tuned because you’re not going to want to miss this truck ripping some smokey AWD burnouts! ————————————————————— Doing your own EV conversion!
