It’s been said before many a time, but it bears repeating: Everything’s bigger in Texas! From land mass to stadiums, it’s tough to beat the state’s impressive, larger-than-life monuments. One such place is AT&T Stadium (formerly Cowboys Stadium) in Arlington. Being one of the country’s largest, its size makes it the perfect venue for what will likely become one of Texas’ newest star attractions: the Summer Truckin’ Nationals. The brainchild of Robbie Bryant of KEG Media, who partnered up with Maxxed Diesel’s Josh Miller, the show’s inaugural event started out with a bang, with title sponsors HD Pro and Versatyre Tires helping to introduce the event to the masses. Robbie is no stranger to putting on big shows, though, as he’s the man responsible for Orange Beach Invasion and Lifted Truck Nationals. So, yeah, it was no surprise that the show ended up being a huge one. Three full days of rad trucks were in store for anyone who made the journey to Arlington. Attendees also got the chance to win some of the $25K in cash and prizes, whether you were a show participant or a spectator! Who does that?! Summer Truckin’ Nationals does, that’s who! And then there was the American Force Concert Series, held during the event, featuring amazing artists both nights. The first night was all about las bandas, with Grammy-nominated La Energia Norteña, Milicia del Rancho, and Reina de Reinas, all hosted by DJ Zeta. Saturday night saw performances by country performers Chase Matthew, Sean Stemaly, Bailey Zimmerman, and David J. But, of course, the main stars were the hundreds of trucks on display, from body-dropped to sky-scraping and everything in between. And for those with their own trucks sitting in the spectator parking lot or at home, lots of vendors were in attendance with the latest parts available at show-only prices to purchase or order. A row of food trucks was on hand, too, to take care of everything from snacks to full-on meals. As amazing as the 2022 event was, you should definitely keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
