Living the Life and Printing the Passion By the time this hits newsstands, it’s March, which means winter is almost over and warm weather is just around the corner. For some of us, taking advantage of free weekends during the winter to finish a project is what we look forward to. For the rest of us who dread the cold, dreary months without a project to work on or truck shows to go to can be a rough time of the year. I personally fall into the latter of these categories. I hate the winter months and miss seeing all my homies from all over the country on a regular basis. I live for hitting whatever car event is happening each weekend, whether it’s at a local cars-and-coffee or a massive three-day event. Either way, it’s time spent around cool vehicles discussing what mod is next with like-minded people. So, with spring coming in fast, there will soon be back-to-back events to look forward to. That means everyone needs to hurry and wrap up their projects and prepare for show season. It’s almost time to get back to shows with friends and family. I introduced my nephew to shows last year to hopefully get him addicted to custom trucks from an early age, so I’m sure he will be at a few more this year. Speaking of projects, we have a few cool trucks in the works for you guys to follow. We have a cat-eye Chevy, an ’89 Chevy OBS, a budget-minded ’23 Ford Maverick project, and my new SEMA-bound ’24 Chevy Tahoe that’s getting lifted. And, of course, we will wrap up this year’s currently ongoing projects: Sergeant Square, Project Stockish, and Rocky. That’s a lot of wrench turning for 2024, but don’t worry, plenty of killer truck features and packed show coverage are are also on the way. This month’s issue is led by Georgia, which is probably one of the top Apache’s on the scene right now as well as five other trucks to drool over. That’s more features than we usually have in a single issue. We have shows from Louisiana and North Carolina as well as a few cool tech articles too, so sit back, get comfortable, and read what all we have for you this month! Brandon Burrell
