If you’re a SEMA truck builder or owner, this is the moment that starts to make you sweat. Not only does it mean that the big event is only a few months away, but we are smack in the middle of the 2019 show season and the events this year have been more impressive than ever. The custom truck industry is exploding like never before, which explains the massive turnouts these great national shows have had all year long. New truck builds are being released on a weekly basis, and you can’t open a social media app without seeing someone’s latest design rendering. We’re glad the custom truck scene is back on the rise, but we think it’s just getting started. Bolt-on modern suspensions for classic trucks have been popping up everywhere from so many great companies in the industry. There’s nothing like an old classic truck that rides like modern muscle, especially on a long highway cruise. The true driving passion is on fi re lately with truck builds that are meant to be driven. Gone are the days of undrivable trailer queen classics. Now it’s just a matter of how many tanks of gas it’s going to take you to get to the next show. Sure, some guys trucks will never see the highway, but if they are built right using today’s modern technology, the ability to go hot-roddin’ around the neighborhood is just a key turn away. We receive tons of emails and letters giving us insight on the builds around the country. Unfortunately, we can’t reply to all of them, but I assure you we see them all and we love seeing your gem. Keep sending us updates and build pics over email, social or web submission. You may very well see it in print someday soon. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter using the QR code. Weekly stories, new part releases and tips and tricks to fi nishing your build are all free and delivered to you personally. Let’s take this digital leap together and see what the future holds. See you guys out there!
