Published on April 13, 2023 Author Brandon Burrell Tags bagged, c10, event, street trucks, Share article Facebook 0 Twitter 0 Mail 0 Auto Metal Direct Truck Jam 2023 Full event coverage Wanting to put together a charity show, Eddy Cebreco and the AMD (Auto Metal Direct) crew decided to host a truck only event at their massive Gainesville, GA facility March 18th. This event was to obtain as many new, stuffed teddy bears for the Eddy Bear Foundation for kids in need and for crisis times. Vehicle entry to the show was just bringing a new teddy bear with tags still on it while spectators were free. Even with as much room as the facility had, the turnout was so good, they ran out of room by 11:30am. There were about 200 trucks showing and about 700 teddy bears were collected. They also contacted the local police department after the show and supplied the officers with 54 bears to be kept in each cruiser incase an officer came across a kid in need of some comfort in a bad situation. We love seeing companies reach out to the community like this. We managed to grab a few photos and video for our followers, so check out how this event turned out below.
