Over the years, the show has become so successful that it now takes over Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As 2020 became the year of the pandemic, more and more shows were canceled due to social distancing issues and mask wearing mandates. The event promoters and the Julian brothers, however, went full steam ahead and laid out security measures to hold their show and bring people together without being too close. Setting records, Oklahoma Summer Bash brought in more than 300 registered vehicles and 2,500 spectators. Everyone followed the rules by wearing masks and keeping a safe distance from others. The musical performers on stage included TG Pzent, Smiley and Rozay, Belair X Eli followed by a Selena tribute by Amanda Solis. GT Garza was next on stage, followed by the main event—Twista, who brought the house down with his performance. A moon bounce house and face painting were on site for the kids. With 2020 becoming the worst year for shows, Oklahoma Summer Bash 2020 became one of Illegal Toys’ most successful. They’re already planning next year’s show. Special thanks go out to Benito, Austin, Frank, David and Gustavo for their dedication and hard work putting on the best show thus far. Sponsors include OKC Dent Shop, Iron Kartel, DD Audio, Clark Crew BBQ, Oklahoma Customs, Vintage Latina, J&L Garage, Scarface Oklahoma, Michelada Mix, Mikes Hot Rod Dogs, Andi’s Bros Metalworks, Seasoned Clothing, Eisenbeck Co., Jenny Renteria and Filero Tattz to name a few. The event promoters and the Julian brothers, however, went full steam ahead and laid out security measures to hold their show and bring people together without being too close.
