Welcome to our newest special feature section for the C10 Buyer’s Guide! Each issue, we’ll be highlighting some “Works in Progress” right here in these pages. We’re celebrating DIY and garage builds and showcasing C10s in their natural habit—always on the build list with more to come. We all know how it goes. One thing leads to another, and the snowball of a build is inevitable. But this section will give us a chance to look inside home garages and see works in progress as they come along.

Kicking off with Mike Hamilton’s ’69 C10 out of Prescott, Arizona, this cruiser is exactly the kind of rig we all strive for—low, loud, and fun! Mike has owned his C10 for almost 15 years and it has been a true labor of love all the way through.

This Chev was ‘bagged and built in a two-car garage and, over the last decade, has unfortunately been in three accidents (only one of which was partly Mike’s fault). That’s right, this is a real word, driven C10 that has seen its fair share of bad luck. Mike even shared with us that the interior caught fire awhile back, and it was daily driven for about 10 of the last 15 years. For more details check out the truck specs [on page XX] and stay tuned as we hit more home garages across the globe scouting the coolest home-built cruisers!
Because we’re on the hunt for the latest C10 projects that are under construction (homebuilt or shop), keep us updated on your build with pics and info emailed to alexandermediainc@gmail.com. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on!
