We’ve been all over the country this year watching events flourish after that pandemic and checking out all kinds of new, cool builds that were wrenched on while in quarantine. A world-altering historical event is what some guys say it will take to finish their truck; well, a lot of those guys found some time over the last year and came up with some unbelievably amazing outcomes. We also had a full, successful year of the first annual Showoff series. We traveled around the country treating it like a national scouting contest in search of the best trucks to take the cover of our magazine and some of our hard-earned cash in the process. We can’t thank those who showed up enough for supporting us throughout the first year, and we’re excited to see you on year two of this national event. It will be more of the same next year while possibly changing our locations just a bit. Stay tuned to our weekly newsletter or social media to be updated, or keep an eye out for the next issue of the magazine for some concrete information. We’ve been all over the country this year watching events flourish after that pandemic and checking out all kinds of new, cool builds that were wrenched on while in quarantine. In this issue, we spent our available editorial hours focused directly on some trucks that have been sweeping the show scene all year long in 2021. Our cover truck is the Stage Two Showoff Series winner, and what an unbelievable build this truck turned out to be. The guys at House of Hot Rods have nothing but pride in every part of this pickup, but wait until you read what they really do with it every day! On the technical side, we jump back on the bodywork for project Burnadebt, our classic Chevy Apache that needs a major metal makeover. We also add some audio to our OBS known as Artemis, which is becoming a wild weekend cruiser that has been fun from day one. The show scene served up some sweet event coverage for this month’s issue, which includes a trip to the National Street Rod Association, a weekend at the Lifted Truck Nationals and a small-town event called Shades of the Past. Finally, some OEM updates for the new truck fans out there, industry insider information for the hardcore fans, and new products for your current projects. The Street Trucks team was able to pump out another great publication for the enthusiast of the aftermarket truck industry. Hope you like it, and we will see you at the next event!
