In fact, it’s highly likely that Ford has been brewing this move for quite some time now and a fresh report quoting a “well-sourced informant” says the supercharged V-8 inside the Shelby GT500 is go for the F-150 Raptor. Without a doubt, this year’s most prominent reveal in the pickup truck realm is Ram’s bonkers 1500 TRX. Packing a Hellcat supercharged, 6.2-liter V-8 with 702 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 650 pound-feet of torque at 4800 rpm, the TRX (or T-Rex, if you wish) just carved its own niche in the pickup segment. Despite ho-hum powertrains (a 159-hp four and a 278-hp six) and an old platform (though that’s changing soon), the Toyota Tacoma is the darling of the midsize pickup segment, leading in sales there for 15 years running. The third generation of Tacoma began in 2016 and the vehicle got a light refresh in 2020. For 2021, we have minor changes and a few new special editions. The changes include dual-zone climate control on all V6 models, upgraded audio to allow for Remote Services on TRD Sport and Off-Road models and a first aid kit on SR5 models and higher. The least expensive Tacoma you can get is a SR, access cab, 4×2 for $27,325. That’s just $100 more than last year. Read More Here!!!
