A Chevy Truck 20+ Years in the Making

Chris Echel of Greenville, North Carolina, bought this truck from his dad back in the year 2000. Previously, he'd used the ’97 Chevy as a volunteer fire truck. It was even decked out with emergency light bars on the roof. The truck came in handy for awhile, but once it fell out active duty, Chris was able to customize it little by little throughout the years.

Finally Done & Second to None '67 C10

Brady Cassel found out that trucks aren't for everyone when he presented his son with a ’67 C10. “I originally bought this truck for my son, but he didn’t show much interest, so I just kept it and waited... to take on the project,” Brady says. He finally got that chance a few years later, and the project has taken off since then.

When Chad Shetsky picked up this the truck, it didn’t run, but that very night, he cleaned the carburetor and changed the spark plugs, and it fired right up. By himself, Chad began the tear-down process in a two-car garage, shoving the cab to one side and the bed floor to another. The motor and transmission were set aside, and the interior was gutted for the complete overhaul.
