April Issue of Street Trucks Now on Sale!
Show season is finally back—and the April issue of Street Trucks has full coverage of the 2022’s first events. Sit back and check out the photos from Goodguys’ 28th annual Lone Star Nationals, Last Resort in Louisiana, and ST’s takeover of Cars & Coffee Palm Beach. You’ll also read about two builds—a ’57 Chevy Suburban and a ’58 Chevy Apache 3100—from the talented Austin Weiss; a mas grande ’57 Chevy pickup out of Aquascalientes, Mexico; a sky-high Bow Tie built from the ground up; and an Ekstensive reconstruction of a freshly restored ’68 Ford F-100. The April issue includes tech articles, including how to install no-slip stepbars on a Ford F-150 and how to replace floorpans in a ’59 Chevy Apache. We also introduce a new project: “Last Chance,” our ’67 patinaed C10. As always, we have the latest in products, industry news, events, and more!
Bow Tie brothers Milo, Daniel, Chris, and Art are the crew that makes up this Texas-based design-and-build shop. The house specialty: 1973-’87 Chevy C10 pickups sitting low on air-ride suspension, stuffing big billet wheels, and sporting two-tone colors with all the factory character you’d expect from GM. In this article, go behind the scenes to see this family truck building team in action.
Do you have plans for this year’s Spring Break weekend? If you’re anywhere near the Alabama Gulf Coast, you have to check out the Orange Beach Invasion! It’s held this weekend (March 25-27) in Orange Beach at The Wharf—and it won’t disappoint. To get revved up, check out these photos from last year’s event!
The guys at Hoonigan deliver the latest edition of THIS vs THAT: “Fast and Furious” inspired 2JZ powered Ford F-150 out to play with a 733hp big block K5 Jimmy. It’s an odd match up—and it’s one you don’t want to miss!
Few people can tell you the complete history of their ride, but Trent Briggs sure can. His ’92 Chevy has pretty much always been around. After serving as a work truck and hay hauler for many years, it passed from father to son, who has been making improvements ever since.
Vintage pickup trucks are just plain cool. This ’52 F1 is received the full Schwartz Performance modernization with a new chassis and drivetrain. The end result: An old pickup that feels like a newer sports car!
