Building a custom truck can mean a lot of different things to different folks. While there is no single “right” reason to do it, Elsayet Garcia of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, was looking to focus past creating a truck that was simply just for show or cruising during the weekends. Does he plan on taking his ’99 Chevy Silverado to shows and driving it around whenever possible? Yes, of course. His real reason for building the truck, however, was to honor his family—both those who are currently here and those important members who he has lost over the years.

The supercharged C10 Stepside build is getting a brand-new interior this week! But first, we kick off the work on the LS C10 by throwing a nice patina paint job on the bed box for our Airlift performance compressors and air management kit. We also chop into our fenders to get the proper clearance to turn the wheels, since the truck is now slammed all the way on the ground. Join in the fun and watch the process!

If you are in the truck scene, you have at least heard of this event. This year was the biggest and best iteration yet. With over 5,000 Chevy trucks in attendance, it was a spectacle, to say the least. Dino, Terri, and the crew really went above and beyond to create an event and weekend that is less of a truck show and more of a family reunion. That is what we would say is the key to the success of this event. It really feels like a family reunion.
