Truck Questions Answered by an AI Chatbot!
Just for fun, we asked ChatGPT, an advanced artificial-intelligence chatbot, a few questions about trucks. The app responds in a conversational way, and so the answers were entertaining, to say the least! Some were spot on, and some were hilarious! You just have to check them out—especially the rap song about ’88-’98 Chevys! (Don’t worry: We’re not going to let bots write our content anytime soon.)
QA1 is, without a doubt, one of the top suspension makers in the biz. In this behind-the-scenes exclusive, Editor Chris Hamilton tours the company’s facility to see where the magic is made. Watch the build of a QA1 suspension, see the creation of carbon fiber driveshafts, and check out the new C10 front cross member. Let’s go!
OMG, it’s Becky! In this feature about an ’84 Chevy C10, nostalgia and trends merge. We all love the way nostalgia soothes the soul, right? For Derrick Ramsey of Heber Springs, Arkansas, it came from childhood rides in his grandfather’s Chevy Squarebody, an old, well-used farm truck. Decades later, Derrick scooped up a similar ride for a mere $1,500—and he created a happy place full of old memories and new memories.
Have you been following the rebuild of Project Playboy, our ’88 Chevy C1500 found filled with Playboy magazines in a random Florida man’s home? Well, after replacing the original suspension, and adding new brakes, wheels, and rubber, and repairing the rebuilt small-block, we’re ready to tackle the interior. Some amazing manufacturer partners helped us out, and we love the way it turned out!
You’ve gotta see the pics and winners from this year’s Grand National Roaster Show! Sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts, this year’s show recognized the top roadsters, hot rods, and custom vehicles in the country. It was held in Pomona, California, and culminated in a fantastic ceremony that included the presentation of two of the car world’s most coveted awards: America’s Most Beautiful Roadster and the Al Slonaker Memorial Award.
Father-son duo Danny and Will Robertson wanted to work on a project together for a long time. They both loved speed, big horsepower, and trucks, and so building a drag truck was the logical choice. Together, they created this 2,000-horsepower 1966 Chevy C10 that’s lightweight, pow-erful, and ready to race!
