Just add that to the stack of 2-3 already in work for miscellaneous owners and SEMA builds on their plate currently. Luckily, Jim and the Stone Cold gang have been doing this long enough they can definitely manage to have an abundance of to-dos on their plate at once, and still push the envelope more and more with every build. There are a couple in the works currently we WISH we could release pictures and details on already, but Stuart is keeping those on the down-low for now; so we will just tell you to stay tuned. While Stone Cold Customs is known for many things in their high quality builds, their metalwork and custom frame/suspension set-ups are a step above the rest. If you tell them you want it to layout, we promise, IT WILL LAYOUT. This 1958 Chevrolet Apache is no exception to that, with MRC Fab mandrel bent frame rails, billet spindles, a Thorbeck Bros Big Boy 4 link set up, and of course Slam Specialties bags, among other things; it is safe to say you get the picture by now on the quality of how this truck will ride. This truck obviously in progress does not have the motor yet installed, however, the heart of this American made classic is going to be a monster. A VERY built Chevrolet LS3 w/ 6L80E transmission will be dropped into this step side, pumping out some very serious horsepower. Needless to say, 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust will be making quite a bit of noise when that pedal is pushed to the floor. Throw in the full set of Wilwood brakes, tucked behind a cocky set of staggered Billet Specialties Turbine wheels, this truck will break some necks, and probably a few laws here and there. Upon finishing this build and shooting it for its completed feature, we will get into the long list of body and metal fab on this one of one truck, but for now, you guys can drool over it and try to spot what else changes by that time. Be on the lookout for the completed feature on this Apache from Stone Cold Customs as well as the Panel truck we wrote up from them in 2018!
