ST: Tell us your name and company?

EC:  Eddy Cebreco / Auto Metal Direct 

ST: When did you decide to get into the business?

EC: 11 years ago, But the owner has been in the game for over 30 years.

ST: Tell us more about your company? History/ history behind the name.

 EC: We initially started off in the Mopar reproduction, once our name was out, we moved to GM & Ford.

ST: What were some of the struggles you had in the beginning?

EC: The biggest hurdle establishing our name in the industry, but once guys got to see our products firsthand the rest fell into place.

ST: What were some of the wins you had that you knew it was going to work?

 EC: Our passion for creating the best possible product available. Once we gained the acceptance from the big 3 and the resto-mod / restoration industry, we know we had something special.  

ST: What do you do to stand out from your competitors?

EC: Quality is #1, all our metal is we close to OEM or better.

 ST: Do you attend shows and if so, about how many a year?

EC: Yes about 26 a year

ST: Do you have or have/ had a custom vehicle? If so, give us an overview of what you own/ have owned.

EC: I asked the owner when I first started, and he said “Too many to name”

ST: What is the future for your business?

EC: To keep manufacturing quality parts got GM, Ford & Mopar with focus on the truck side of the restomod industry. That market has been overlooked for in quality for far too long. 

ST: What advice you would give to anyone wanting to start a business.

EC: Stick to quality over quantity, If you build it they will come, if you build it better, they will come faster. 

ST: What do you think about the current and future state of the industry?

EC: We love the development in the industry, particularly being able to connect with customers on social media.
