Up next Must-Have Upgrades from Classic Dash, Prosport Performance, and More Published on December 28, 2023 Author Brandon Burrell Tags brandon burrell, Share article Facebook 0 Twitter 0 Mail 0 LETTER FROM THE EDITOR | Brandon Burrell How is it already the end of 2023? With this year being super crazy and super busy, it has flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was writing my first Street Trucks editorial page and not knowing what I had gotten myself into. Now, here we are, and I am trying to get this last issue of the year complete and off to print all while trying to wrap up my SEMA build. Due to magazine production times, I’m actually writing this December column at the end of September, before SEMA—and I still have some work to do on my ’23 Sierra. If you remember my last month’s editorial, I had a photo of my truck gutted and the rendering. Now, the truck is back from the interior/audio shop and back together, for the most part. I only have a few small items left to wrap up at this point, and I’m already hyped to have it ready for the 2024 show season. Hopefully I will see some of you guys at shows where I plan to be out in our Street Trucks booth giving out magazines and signing people up for subscriptions. Thanks to Ultimate Audio in Lexington, South Carolina, for knocking out my European luxury-style interior just in time for SEMA. Being this is the last issue of the year and it’s holiday season, I wanted to put together a special “holiday issue” for our readers. As you’ll notice, the cover truck is loaded with Christmas packages, while every feature truck is painted either red or white. It’s one of those small things most people won’t notice, but I had to stick to a theme all the way through. We also have our Holiday Buyer’s Guide put together to show what gifts are available in the custom truck world. Most truck enthusiasts are hard to shop for, including myself, so show that article to your significant other and maybe circle some items and add sticky notes so they know what to get you. Or send them a link to our website page where you can get a full subscription to this very magazine. I hope you enjoy this special issue, but stay tuned for how we kick off 2024 with an insane throwback. It’s going to be epic for sure! You OG guys will not want to miss that one!
